A conference is a schedule with many changeovers
The technical difficulty of a conference is set not by the size of the room but by the number of changeovers: how many speakers swap, how many decks must be loaded, how many microphones pass from hand to hand and how many parallel tracks run. Every changeover is a moment when something can fail in front of everyone.
