What data we process#

Through this website we process only the data you send us yourself, plus the technical data required to run the site.

• enquiry form data: name, company, email, phone, the areas and services you select, your project description, indicative budget and timeline, and any attachments
• data from email or a phone call if you contact us directly
• technical logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, request time, browser type), created on every visit
• local storage in your browser: your language, your theme and - only with your consent - a record of the pages you read

Purposes and legal bases#

• responding to your enquiry and preparing an offer - steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• performing the contract and the project if we start working together (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• secure and reliable operation of the site and prevention of abuse - legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
• visit measurement and content personalisation - only on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR)
• compliance with legal obligations, for example retaining invoices (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR)

How long we keep it#

• enquiries that do not lead to a project: 12 months from the last communication
• project documentation: for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as required by law
• accounting records: the statutory retention period
• hosting logs: in line with the hosting provider's policy

Who we share data with#

We do not sell data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes. We do use external providers who process data on our instructions as processors.

• website hosting and form delivery provider (Netlify Inc., USA)
• our email provider, through which your enquiry reaches us
• our domain and mailbox provider (Neoserv, Slovenia)

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another appropriate safeguard.

Your rights#

• access to your data and a copy of it
• rectification of inaccurate data
• erasure where there is no longer a basis for processing
• restriction of processing and objection to processing
• portability of the data you provided to us
• withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal

Send your request to info@epix.si. We reply within one month at the latest. If you believe we are acting unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, gp.ip@ip-rs.si.

Security#

Only people who need the data for the project have access to it. The site and the form are served over an encrypted connection. Access is reviewed regularly and attachments are kept in restricted environments.

Children#

This site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 through it.

Changes#

We update this policy whenever our processing changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
