The project
Huawei is one of Epix's most significant references in corporate event production.
We worked on the technical preparation and delivery of events where LED technology, video signal, content, rigging and show execution all had to be matched to the real conditions of the venue.
On the Huawei Digital Power Summit the planned LED setup was enlarged during preparation, which meant the production configuration had to be adapted quickly to the new scale.
Deliveries like this take more than supplying equipment: system preparation, video signal, processing, an experienced crew and the ability to respond to changes shortly before doors open.

A large LED build is not a bigger small one
At twenty-four square metres almost everything changes: the structure has to carry the weight and wind load, power has to be planned in advance, the signal has to be processed and distributed, and the build needs a crew and a time window agreed with the venue.

One extra metre, overnight
With the structure already built, the client wanted the screen a metre taller. That is not just adding panels: the aspect ratio changes, and with it every graphic, every video and every presentation background prepared for the original size.
The build was extended to 8 × 4 metres and every asset reworked to the new ratio by the following morning.
